Europe's best party hostels (ranked)

Partying with other travellers is one of the great joys of backpacking. It's also one of the best ways to meet people on the road!

And you know where to go when you're feeling that itch? Party hostels.

Since we're in peak Europe travel season, we want to show you where to go for partying during a Euro trip.

16 Coolest Party Hostels in Europe

Party hostels can be wonderful places if you're looking for a good time and a space where it's easy to meet people.

Cause everyone knows socialising gets 10 times easier when you get a drink or two in ya and loosen up a bit...

The issue is, not every “party hostel” is actually a good hostel. Some will make you instantly regret your decisions (even more so than at the good kind of party hostels!).

So we thought we'd jump in with some suggestions. Make sure you check the full list on The Broke Backpacker.

1. Flying Pig - Amsterdam

Flying Pig Downtown is all about good times, and it does exactly what it says on the tin. Famous hostel bar, daily events and it's located just minutes from Central Station.

2. YellowSquare - Rome

YellowSquare has a bit of everything going on, which is probably why so many travellers end up extending their stay. Live music, cooking classes, pub crawls and plenty more.

3. Kabul Party Hostel - Barcelona

Kabul is loud, lively and unapologetically focused on partying. This is not the place to book if you’re after early nights or a quiet stay. There's always something happening!

4. Greg & Tom Party Hostel - Kraków

The perfect hostel for backpackers who want a really social hostel with free food and big nights out. There's always a buzz around the place!

5. Copenhagen Downtown Hostel - Copenhagen (duh)

Copenhagen can be mad expensive, so finding a hostel with cheap drinks and a proper social atmosphere is definitely a win. Highly recommend staying here if you're in town.

And there's more where those came from, check out the full list!
