Let me ask you something, Reader: have you ever talked yourself out of staying in a hostel? Or maybe you're the opposite: a bunk-bed-loving, dorm veteran, "I'll sleep when I'm dead" kind of traveller who's heard every hostel myth in the book. And rolls their eyes every single time. Either way, this one's for you.
Hostel myths are everywhere. They live in the minds of first-timers who haven't taken the plunge yet. But they also live (despite quietly and stubbornly) in the heads of experienced travellers who think they already know the full picture. Some of these myths have just enough truth in them to be convincing. Which is exactly what makes them worth knowing about. We went through the most common ones, one by one, and held them up to the light: some got completely destroyed, but others are more nuanced than you'd expect. It's an entertaining read, no matter if you're booking your first hostel bed or your five hundredth :)

This is a story about facing your fears, taking...

Have you seen this man? Things don't really work out in hostels...
Ever wondered how some travellers manage to stay on the road way longer than their budget should allow?
