If there’s one thing reading and travelling have in common, it’s their power to immerse us in brand-new worlds. We’re transported—discovering places, people, and perspectives that have the power to change us. We read before the journey, we read on the journey... I'm starting to think reading IS the journey!! Point being: travel reads carry a certain kind of magic. Something unique, and something all travellers long for. We've been updating a lot of our content here at The Broke Backpacker. The list is big, but we're getting through it... So I recently challenged my team to list ALL their favourite books to take travelling. And the result is a fresh source of inspiration for you :) We've got novels in there, we've got non-fiction and technical nuggets, there's something in there for everyone :) Can you guess my pick? I've talked about it before around here...
Some News from Our PartnersMe and my team work a lot with gear. We've partnered with countless brands, and have reviewed a whole bunch of products over the last decade. We're always on the lookout for deals and love sharing them with our audience. Our deal today comes from TropicFeel, a brand we've grown to love not only for its quality but for how transparent they are. In a market as competitive as the travel gear one, they're making moves like few other brands are. They're having a sale of up to 40% OFF this month: You can also check out our TropicFeel review — we tried and tested many of their products so you don't have to risk it. If you're ready to have a look, click one of the links below and get some of that Xmas shopping out of the way 😉

And One Last NoteI’ve been invited to all kinds of podcasts over the past year but not all of them I like as much as I did this one. I recently went on the Globetrotters Podcast to have a chat with their crew and it was super lovely. We talked about travel and how I managed to make my dreams come true. We talked about the intricacies of adventuring in challenging countries, what’s next in the future, and how I fuel my relentless drive to continuously expand my horizons. It was a blast.
