Reader, if you ever looked at a street performer and thought "I wish I could do that", we need to talk. Busking is an absolutely kickass thing to do while travelling, and it's something I think everyone should try at least once in their life. You know, new experiences, facing fears, putting yourself out there. That's a big part of backpacking. That's where real growth kicks in. Busking is the act of performing in public places for tips: money, food, drinks, you name it. It's one of the most powerful tools in a budget backpacker's utility belt, as it often allows wanderers to cover a lot of their travel expenses. But that's not all there is to it. Perhaps the most interesting about busking, provided you're not doing it out of need, is the people (and their stories). When you’re living out of your backpack, free to go anywhere and do anything, you risk ending up on some pretty fantastic adventures. And that is why you should give busking a try: because it’s an adventure and you’re an adventurer!
Our busking guide was written by an OG traveller who busked for the first time when they were 12. After doing it for a while, and all around the globe, there's a lot you learn on how to do it proper! So this article is a good place to start if you want some inspiration. It covers everything including your busking setup, how to start, and a bunch of little secrets and tips that'll just make life easier. Now off we go. Get jammin’!

Albania is one of the last corners of Europe that feels largely untouched. It’s the kind of place that you hear whispers about. A place that lingers in the back of your mind. The history. The grit. The peaks... Ta-da! Dani has spent her whole life chasing ridgelines and summits. Growing up amongst the peaks of New Zealand, hiking has become part of her DNA. Pakistan is a country that will often have people raising their eyebrows. It's one of those places that is still largely misrepresented in Western media, which ends up creating division in the travel community. Real adventurers like you and me, though, we know what's good. I've been fortunate to have visited Pakistan countless times myself. This is probably not the first time you hear me rave about it either... I mean, cmon. And in one of my trips there, I met Samantha, an epic adventurer who...
